Today we have another fabulous joint giveaway with the lovely Jen of I Heart Organizing. In honor of the newly organized and beautified site, we’re giving away some fabulous storage pieces to help you organize and beautify your own space.
My initial intention was to use these snazzy cube benches in the playroom. Once the hubs finished assembling them in the living room, though, I pushed them over to the window to temporarily make room and instantly loved the look. I’ve always wanted a bench there for more seating but just didn’t think we had the space.
Fortunately, these benches have a very small footprint. They hardly add any visual weight to the room but they’re still plenty comfy for both adults and kiddos to cop a squat on. The colors even match our couch and accent wall, it was a total no-brainer.
The best part, of course, is all the added storage they bring to the room. With our kids’ bedrooms upstairs, there’s just no avoiding toys in our open plan living room. Six whole bins to hide stuff away is pure heaven. Plus, the kids think it’s all kinds of fun to open and close them so they’re even picking up their stuff more. That means a clutter-free living room and a happy mama.
I was impressed by the thickness of the canvas on the totes and I think they’re going to last us a good long time. (The kids zeal for picking up – probably not so much.)
A few other features I really appreciated were the removable nylon covers on the cushions, which will make cleaning them so much easier, and the velcro strips on the bottom of the cushions for preventing slippage.
Did I mention my kids love these benches every bit as much as I do? This quickly became their new favorite spot to cuddle, play, read, etc.
Ready to win some fancy storage furniture of you own? I’ve got good news. Not only do you have 3 chances to win here, you can also enter Jen’s giveaway at I Heart Organizing.
