I’m also totally diggin’ two of this summer’s biggest trends, neon and stripes. So here’s my formula for the perfect summer look: comfy striped dress + neon accessories + sun protection = hip golden goddess (with the golden part being faux of course). How fun is it that neon is in right now? I always feel a little more playful during the summertime and these subtle pops of color are bringing me back to my middle school days of big bangs, spandex shorts and side pony tails.

Finally, it wouldn’t be a proper summer fashion post without some mention of keeping safe (and stylish) in the sun. And, yes, I realize that the bronzer won’t actually provide any sun protection but the better I’m able to fake a golden summer tan, the more motivated I am to slap on the sunscreen.

I love the stripes and the summer dresses. If you find nice jersey dress, it’s pretty much as comfy as hanging around home in your comfy clothes, but if you just add a couple accessories you look all dressed up!

I think it’s also easier in the summer because we know it’s gonna be hot every day. Where I live, it can get warm or cold suddenly at other times of the year so you have to have so much more variability.
