It’s been an inordinately busy weekend here at MPMK. Things starting getting exciting on Friday, so much so that I felt compelled to do a bonus post on Sunday. If you haven’t already, make sure you check them out so you’ll be up to speed with the rest of us! And just so you don’t think I’m completely changing the spirit of this little blog of mine…
V-Day is tomorrow and I’m going to assume/hope that you’ve at least got the whole Valentines for the class thing under control (psst – see the last two links at the bottom of this post if you still need help!). So instead of talking more about those, I’ve rounded up a few non-commercial, sugar-free and super easy last minute ways to make the day a little more special for the kids.
Make
For playtime tomorrow, try either my growing love salt hearts or these super simple hearts of gold. Both activities require only materials that you very likely already have on hand.
Eat
I was going to do a whole post about Valentine lunch ideas but Cool Mom Picks totally stole my thunder. Seriously, three of their six picks were on my list. Check it out, it’s good stuff.
Do
You know me, I’m a sucker for a good tradition (exhibits A and B). This one will fill the kiddos up with both love and anticipation (fun!).
